London: Aquila Press, 1929. First Deluxe Hardcover Edition. Hardcover. Copy #22 of 850, this being one of the first 50 signed by Rodker. These copies were specially bound in full black & tan leather, and were not for sale. Rodker (1894-1955) a novelist and poet, was a key figure in expatriate publlishing, famous for his Ovid Press, as well as his role in editing the 2nd edition of Joyce's ULYSSES, publishing Ezra Pound's HUGH SELWYN MAUBERLEY and THE FOURTH CANTO and BEL ESPRIT, (also taking over from Pound the editorship of The Little Review), Eliot's ARA VUS PREC, Wyndham Lewis' FIFTEEN DRAWINGS, and other works. Slight denting to fore-edge of covers, and small abrasion on spine, else a very nice copy of this rare issue.
