New York: Thomas Seltzer, 1925. First Edition. Hardcover. First edition, first issue binding. Roberts A30. Note: There were 8 variant bindings, black, purple, orange, etc. but this is the dark red binding, which Roberts considers to be the first. Interestingly, it is also the only binding which is stained red on top page edges. Small 8vo cloth with yellow spine label printed in red. Unusually nice copy of the first issue binding in an excellent dust-jacket. Small inked last name of reviewer ("Allen") front flyleaf, a small nick to crown of spine, else a near-fine tight copy in a very good + jacket, which though price-clipped and with some shallow shipping to spine extremities and minor nicking to corners, is bright and well-preserved (the spine a bit darkened).
