The inscribee is Richard Abramowitz, a film distribution veteran who has worked in the film industry for over 40 years and often involved in music-related films and documentaries. Selby's groundbreaking and controversial work was adapted for the screen in a 1989 film version by Uli Edel. 8vo cloth & boards. Near fine in very good dust jacket with some minor shelf wear, crease on rear panel, and a couple tiny chips, one at the upper crown of spine and another at front flap fold. Overall, a pleasing copy.
