Stuttgart: Jonathan Williams, 1953. First Edition. Softcover. Both volumes of Olson's magnum opus work, of which volume two is SIGNED & INSCRIBED BY OLSON at end (page 51). ONLY the second volume is signed. Each consisted of only 350 copies printed, of which 50 deluxe were signed and the rest not. Designed and printed in Germany by Jonathan Williams and issued as "Jargon 7" and "Jargon 9". Introduction by Robert Creeley laid in both as issued. Tall quarto, printed wraps. Both volumes are in good or better condition. Bindings are firm and most of the wear is to the covers, there being tears and some stains to front and back. Volume one has some chipping at base of spine. Volume two is in slightly better shape, closer to very good. Still, highly desirable in any condition and especially scarce signed.
