Classic work on American Indians containing fold-out map plus 360 coloured engravings by Catlin who visited nearly 50 tribes. Small 4to, attractively re-bound in 3/4 red leather, gilt-stamped, t.e.g., with raised bands. Outer boards lightly stained, with some minor rubs to extremities. Some wear to endpapers from removal of owner bookplate in both. Otherwise, both volumes are tight with clean, bright interior. Very Good set.
