DAW No. 44 with $0.95 price on cover and numbered UQ1044. This is the first printing of the first U.S. edition, which is marked "FIRST PRINTING, FEBRUARY 1973" on the copyright page. It is also marked with a vertical string "FIRST PRINTING," "SECOND PRINTING," and continues through "TENTH PRINTING" as is called for in the first printing according to the Levack bibliography. Alternatively, there was also a Canadian edition which is marked "Printed in Canada" and contains only the first printing statement [Levack 3a]. Sharpy, nearly fine with some very slight rubbing to cover but overall very nice, unread copy.
