Beniamino "Bene" Bufano (1890-1970) was an Italian American sculptor best known for his large-scale peace monuments and modernist works featuring smooth animal forms and simple shapes. Somewhat scarce early collection by the celebrated Armenian-American novelist. Being also signed to a prominent sculptor and friend of Saroyan makes this a unique and special association copy. 8vo, pictorial wrappers. Spine faded, else very good with some light staining to interior pages.
