He refers to his first novel as a "scatalogical" work, and humorously mentions his worry over the reaction to it by Miriam Patchen (Kenneth Patchen's wife) and his mom. Fun letter, by a very interestng and entertaining writer who was mostly known entirely within the small press world. 8vo, pictorial wrappers. Near fine with small ding a base of spine and lightly creased corner on rear cover. Both letters are near fine with minimal signs of handling.
