An inspirational perpetual calendar compiled by Delia Lyman Porter, presenting quotations and reflections for daily reading. With a contemporary gift inscription dated December 25, 1906, recording the book as a gift from Dr. John Lyon Caughey, then pastor of the Harlem Presbyterian Church in New York. Laid in is a contemporary newspaper clipping dated October 5, 1905, announcing Caughey as the new pastor of the church and reproducing his portrait. Book with light rubbing and wear, internally clean; slipcase rubbed and worn at extremities with some splitting and loss at upper edge, but sound and substantially complete. Very Good in publisher's original slipcase.
